And I had a comic for today, but Photoshop ate it. And right now I’m leaving for a camping trip. When I return, I will rescan when I return. So, it’s September, and like every September here at OH-NO, it’s Pirate Month!!! Enjoy!
Pirates will update every Wednesday.
Howdy Folks,
Pull up a stool here at the Falls Inn, I have a few announcements to make.
1. You may have noticed that WF is updating a little less frequently. Seems I forgot to tell you that I put the comic on a temporary Summer schedule so it will be posting only three times a week during the month of August both here and on Sherpa.
2. There is a tournament going on at TGT Webcomics. My interview is part of said tournament. So click here and support me. And while your there, be sure to listen to my interview with Kurt and Byron. So go VOTE! Last I checked, I was trailing by 15 votes.
3. The summer 50% off sale on original comic art is still going on. Be sure to pick up your favorite strips before they are gone. And if your into the luck of the draw for a cheap price, head on over to the Blueberry Arts Store to pick up an original randomly picked by me for just $10. This stuff is normally $50, so thats a bargain!
So, that’s the news from Whiskey Falls, where all the stalkers are crazy, the scientists are mad and the convenience stores are run by militaristic overlords.
I am not sure if you noticed or not, that after my unexpected one week hiatus from the comic, the dates written between panel one and two did not match the date the comic posted. Well, starting next week, the dates will match again. But what you will also notice that the comic numbers will go from 205 to 211. What happened to 206-210? Well, they are drawn and they are actually posted online.
If you go to my Comics Sherpa page you will see this weeks comics. They will eventually make there way back to this sight, but most likely not until January when I need some time to get the next book done. So for now check out my comic at Comics Sherpa. While there, why not add the strip to your GoComics page, leave some comments or find it on the old Sherpa site and sign up to get the comic in your email.
Some other reminders: Don’t forget about the Art sale going on, 50% off until labor day on all original comic strip art, both for Whiskey Falls and OH-NO.

Howdy!
As the tittle of this news post states, I’m not dead. Nor is Whiskey Falls. Things just accidentally went on an unplanned one week hiatus. I blame the illness that took me a bit back that ate away my remaining buffer and left me stranded when my personal and work life got really busy, thus eating up any comic making time. I hate telling you guys excuses. I just want to say I’m sorry. I will strive in all my power to never let it happen again. To make up for it, all original comic art will now be on sale for 50% off until Labor Day. Oh, and normal comic updating will resume on Wednesday (tomorrow) if all goes to plan tonight, and hopefully it will resume on Comics Sherpa later this week as well. See you tomorrow!
Three Years Ago…
I began posting new OH-NO Comics to the web after not drawing the strip for four years. I can’t believe I went that long without drawing a comic now that I have been doing it for three years continuously.

But on the joyous celebration of hitting this milestone, I have some sad news. I am announcing today that OH-NO will have a sporadic if at all update schedule. It’s not that the tank has run dry on ideas, it’s just that those ideas work better for me in Whiskey Falls. I am hoping to have an OH-NO up this weekend that illustrates how an idea works for both OH-NO and Whiskey Falls. There is another problem preventing OH-NO from getting drawn, time. Since Whiskey Falls has taken a five day a week schedule, I cant seem to keep any time open for my original comic. OH-NO is over ten years old, and I think it is time for a semi retirement for it. It isn’t going away forever, it still has a place near and dear to me, it just will not be the weekly feature you have come to love over the last three years.

P.S. If you enjoy the annual Pirate Month, I am planning to draw that until the end of time, so tune in this September for the 4th Annual Pirate Month!
